Julia & Alex | Engagement From the bride to be: My fiance and I have had the pleasure to work with Kim and Dewey for our engagement shoot and now for our upcoming wedding! And what a dynamic and creative duo they are! I first met Dewey when he came into a Barber shop I was working at and I had the opportunity to cut his hair! When we got to talk, I found to my delight that he and his wife did wedding photography. Kim with her graphic design skills and creative eye and Dewey with his strong photography skills and vibrant personality, I grabbed the chance to have them as our wedding photographers. Dewey had found his barber and I had found our wedding photographers, the perfect match! Their professionalism, dedication, and love for what they do is evident in their work. They have made our engagement shoot a day for us to remember. Fun and comfortable, they put any worries we may have had about being in front of a camera at ease. I am so happy to have found them and can’t wait to see what photography magic they will make of our Big Day! ❤❤❤ […]

Stephanie & Hugo | Engagement When Stephanie & Hugo first contacted us to inquire about our packages, they invited us over to their place for brunch. Hugo insisted to make us some fresh arepa, a dish from his country in Venezuela. One thing everyone always say is “never say no to a client” and we love arepa so of course, there is no way we were going to decline the invitation. If you know Dewey and I, you know that good food makes us very happy. To be honest, we have made dinner and invited people over our place many many times, but rarely has anyone took their time to make us food. We chatted and laughed over delicious food and had a great time. Hands down, this was the best meet and greet with a couple ever, because beside the great food, we also gain new friends. -Kim

Lily & Oliver | Wedding I had the hardest time doing my photo selection for this blog as I just wanted to add all of the pictures from this lovely wedding. Hard not to when Lily made such a stunning bride, and Oliver made her laugh and cry of joy like no other. We witnessed their love at their engagement shoot; but when Oliver sang that song to Lily at the reception, I think half of the room was in tears with the bride (including me!). Long live their love! -Kim Makeup: Tianna Tran | Hair: Beauty on the Grind | Bride’s Dress: Essence of Australia from Superior Bridal Shop | Bride’s Shoes: Valentino | Bridesmaid’s dresses: Gardenia Bridal | Groom’s Outfit: Tuxedo Royale | Groom’s Shoes: Ferragamo | Photoshoot Location: Markham Museum | Flowers: Memories Flower & Gift Shop | Cake: The Sweetest Secret

Selene | Baby Selene is the youngest of Monica and Minh’s three kids, and their only daughter. Needless to say, she is loved by all and she is the precious princess of the family. -Kim

Hugo | Baby Often, people ask new parents who do they think their baby look like the most. Mommy? Or Daddy? Who do you think this handsome fella look more like? -Kim & Dewey

Alaya & Daniel | Engagement We always suggest our couple to do an engagement session prior to the wedding so they can see how we work and get familiar with the camera pointing at them. Alaya & Daniel needed none of those warm-up because they were naturally comfortable and fun in front of the lens, a dream for any photographer. We drove down to Dundas Peak for a beautiful view of the city. Fun summer day with a lovely couple. Gear: Canon 5D Mark III | Canon 6D Location: Spencer Gorge Conservation Area, Hamilton

Carolyn & Bruce | Wedding Bruce has loved Carolyn for a very long time. Their love story goes way way back when they were dating during their younger years. Concentrating on their professional career, they went on and lived a separate lives. Fast forward 40 years later, fate has brought them back together again. But this time when Bruce popped the question, Carolyn said yes. There’s always a happy ending. -Dewey Ceremony: Toronto City Hall | Reception Venue: Sassafraz

Serly & Tho | Engagement We started our engagement session exploring the Ryerson campus, where Tho graduated. Toronto never seems to stop surprising us as we can find beauty anywhere we turn. Serly & Tho wanted their beloved city featured in their pictures. Roaming around the busy downtown and the waterfront, we sure had a great time capturing these precious moments for the soon to be wed couple. Shannon & Chris | Wedding The entire wedding day was held at the beautiful Heintzman House. One of the oldest buildings in Thornhill, Ontario. We loved how Shannon was calm and really taking her time to absorb every happy moment from her wedding day. She is a very talented mosaic artist, so needless to say, the details from all the hard work that she had put in to making the beautiful mosaic centrepieces were phenomenal. Their wedding had flavour popcorn station, ice cream truck “of course we lined up to get some and by the way, we caught some people on camera going to the truck three times haha”. These two definitely know how to treat their guests and we are glad we were able to capture all the joy that they brought to their loved ones. We knew exactly what we were walking into on the wedding day as this couple did not hold back on their engagement session. This was a remarkable celebration of two silly adults who truly love each other. Congrats to Shannon & Chris. -Kim & Dewey From the bride: Absolutely fabulous wedding photos! We were shocked that everything could look so perfect! They captured […]
